Support During Chemotherapy
If you are undergoing chemotherapy, it’s important to know that hair loss often begins between 10 days and 2 weeks after the first treatment. We recommend cutting your hair short or shaving it completely once hair loss starts. This gives you a sense of control and makes the process easier to manage. By this time, you should already have your wig ready, so you can wear it immediately after trimming your hair.
Continue caring for your scalp with a mild shampoo and conditioner to improve circulation and prevent dryness. If your scalp becomes sensitive, applying a facial moisturizer can help soothe irritation. Avoid using regular body lotion, as it tends to be too oily for the scalp.
